O Lord, our Sovereign, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens. – Psalm 8
I can’t imagine how Rebekah and I could possibly have picked a better week to be up here in the North Carolina mountains. Today we hiked Mt. Jefferson; and – when you add together the color, the temperatures around 60, the sunshine, the light breezes, and having the mountain to ourselves – it all combined for the most perfect set of conditions to enjoy God’s wondrous creation beyond what we could have hoped or imagined.
So, once again, I’ll let just a handful of photographs speak for the day. I promise more photos, and more in-depth reporting, when we return to Wake Forest next week.
In gratitude for the gift of life, for finding each other, and for the privilege to enjoy this life together – DEREK
Love this pictures! Don’t forget to follow back!

Thanks – but I think a “follow” is an “I want to follow your site” choice… not a quid-pro-quo. I’ll take a look nonetheless.

Looks like you had a wonderful vacation with the grandchildren and wife. Glad she had healed enough to make these hikes. Thanks for sharing your family with us! God bless!
