Yes, I am still saving the more spectacular images for our return, there are simply too many to process using Andrew’s computer a few minutes at a time.

I have, however been grabbing cellphone images too, and those are more easy to work with on the road.

So today’s post is a hodgepodge from the past few days. And there are a couple of my more serious Nikon photographs thrown in.

My last blog focused on how reassuring it is for Rebekah and me to know there are people here who love our children. Well today we went to church and met people who love Jesus and who have welcomed Andrew and Alicia into their faith-based community.

The fellowship is associated with the Anglican presence in Berlin and meets twice monthly, once in the great Frauenkirchen and once in the place we gathered today for communion. It is a beautiful thing to know that – meeting at 4:00 in the afternoon – we shared communion with our home church, as WFPC were having services at 10:00 EST.

In this photo (above) Rebekah and Andrew are by the window with the old Lutheran Church in the background.

Of course, with the “Flat-Jesus” travel thing we have going through our church, Jesus had to meet Ricky, the Priest. I’m happy to say it seems they are already well-acquainted.

I found it extremely gratifying to get to church via tram and walking. On the way home we walked even more. Through the city of Dresden as far as the main railroad train station, then catching the #3 to Nurnberger Straza.

So enjoy this loosely related collection. I’m not sure when I will be able to post again.
