January in 31 photos (monthly review)

January wasn’t quite the kick-off to 2021 we were all hoping for. Yet, in the middle of it all, life around Maul-Hall has been full with love, light, faith, great sadness, welcome laughter, wonderful food, and lots of “virtual” grandparenting.

We said a sad goodbye to Rebekah’s sister, Rachel McMahan; we continue to invest ourselves completely in the life and ministry of Wake Forest Presbyterian Church; I always have an open eye for framing the next enticing photograph; and I do my best to take care of my mum and dad – Grace and David – as dad, little by little, looses ground.

So that is January, in a nutshell. Enjoy this brief tour via some of the photography that defined it.

Peace, always – DEREK
