Photo Friday: vibrant color and audacious life

“And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.” – Matthew 6:28-29

Here in Wake Forest, this looks to be the breakthrough weekend for springtime color. So, until I have the opportunity to grab my camera and walk around for a couple of hours, here is just a hint from around our house.

The most compelling image of vibrant seasonal color, however, features David and Beks in Miami with their Easter baskets. It has only been a couple of weeks since they were here to celebrate my Big 65 birthday, but we miss them – and baby Geoffrey – so much already.

The springtime here in North Carolina is such a vibrant testimony to the insistence and audacity of new life and promise.

May your day, and your weekend, be marked by color, and light, and life, and possibility, and new growth.
