We are thrilled that Andrew and Alicia are safely in their new home

– Manama, Bahrain

Do not remember the former things,
    or consider the things of old.
 I am about to do a new thing;
    now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
    and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:18-19

So this past weekend, while we were busy getting Rebekah into retirement, our Dresden family made the big move from Germany to Bahrain. That’s right, our grandson gets to exchange the historic banks of the River Elbe for the biggest sandbox he will ever see!

We are thankful that the trip was smooth, that all the paperwork and vaccinations met the local standards, and that they were able to move immediately into their spacious apartment.

Hence the photograph. Mr T. is checking out the floor to ceiling view of the spectacular Manama skyline.

This next leg of The A-Team‘s international adventures is off and running. Both Andrew and Alicia will be teaching at the state-of-the-art American School of Bahrain, and our grandson is well on his way to being a World Citizen, right along with his amazing parents.

What a world we live in! It is a world much in need of the grace, creativity, passion, love, and light Mr. T. and his family have to share.

In love, and because love makes all that is good possible – DEREK
