“God has made everything beautiful in its time” – Fall Photo Friday

– Corner of Tyler Run and Holding Ave.

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning—the sixth day.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Genesis 1:31, Ecclesiastes 3:11
– A walk around the neighborhood

The challenge was on; I pretty much set myself up for this yesterday, when I wrote about the beauty and the faithfulness of “living in the moment.”

So I grabbed my camera and I walked the immediate neighborhood. I was gone about one hour, wandering less than a half mile in each direction. “What can I see that speaks of the glory of autumn and that feeds my soul?”

And of course there is a lot to celebrate. Next week I may drive to a few other locations in Wake Forest, but this “Photo Friday” collage of images is my “Exhibit A” to go with my assertion – yesterday – that “it is not tomorrow, nor yesterday, but this moment that is the gift it is important for me to receive.”

I believe there is a relationship between engaging with the fact that “God has set eternity in the human heart” and understanding – receiving – the truth that “God has made everything beautiful in its time.”

It is in knowing Jesus that I am able to see the hand of The Creator in every moment.

Peace. And enjoy these Fall Photo Friday images – DEREK
