The issue in our town… in our county… in North Carolina… in the USA… in the world, is not a lack of resources. The issue is how they are shared.
We must guard against limiting who God is by reducing the Almighty to a simple projection of our own ideas.
This is a broken world, defined by so much anger, cynicism, and strife. In face of all this, six more teens at WFPC have made a public commitment to follow Jesus.
Our congregation is healthy and confident about the future. But many churches find themselves struggling to remain relevant and to keep their doors open.
Following Jesus is a lifetime commitment of applied humility and intentional service.

God calls who God chooses to call; the Creator does not first check with us to see if our cultural preferences and prejudices would accommodate the purposes of the Almighty.
