be encouraged. God’s Spirit is alive and active and vital, and life-giving here in the Presbyterian Church.
Jesus, like the ancient church stones in the photographs, is the foundation and the cornerstone of our faith. At the same time, it is Jesus who continually sings a new song in our hearts…
this particular Monday morning, in a nation dominated by cynicism and intransigence, it’s more important than ever that we change our hearts and lives, and that we trust this good news. Now is the time!
God’s arms open wide; the Creator’s generous heart receptive to everyone who walks through the doors; the faith community speaking God’s “Yes” with a distinct clarity into a world where affirmation is sometimes scarce; the invitation of Jesus in all its simplicity and power: come, everyone who is carrying any kind of a burden.
