It's not a question of "if" we are teaching anything about faith, it's more a question of "what" are we teaching?
Being church in the wake of Sutherland Springs: are we on the defensive, or still God’s open invitation?
So who are we? Are we an invitation... or a barrier... or a lighthouse... or a gatekeeper... or a discouragement... or an ambassador...?
I can't get enough of the open invitation, but I also can't even begin to understand how readily and how enthusiastically so many "shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces."
