11th Day Celebration. Let’s Make Some Noise!

This is a new experience for me: I’m blogging from my phone here in North Georgia because there’s no wifi for my laptop.

One letter at a time on the touch-screen is no way to write, so I’m predicting a short post this morning!

But it’s the 11th Day of Christmas, and I can’t bring myself to skip those Piping Pipers!

The pipers make me think about the most excellent brass and woodwind section we had in the Praise Band I played with back in Brandon.

Trumpets, trombones, French horn, clarinets, flute, oboe. When everyone was there we really did have as many as 11 pipers piping!

PIPE AWAY!! My inspiration this morning isn’t limited to those Brandon pipers… It comes from anyone willing to pour their talents, and themselves, into any offering of praise and enthusiasm in response to the initiative of Love we celebrate at Christmas.

We don’t have to show up at First Brandon to listen to the excellent pipers (though I’d recommend it) – we can  pipe our hearts out today, and carry the spirit of Christmas celebration into every aspect of our thankful lives!

It’s the 11th day of Christmas. Let’s make some noise!
