This long weekend in Florida turned out to be a valuable experience. I met some good people, I had some great conversations, I made some new friends, I worshiped with a faithful, faith-filled community, I presented the message God prepared me to share, and I reconnected with a handful of timeless friends.

I have a number of powerful stories to share, and some deep insights to pass on; but I need to process this particular trip a little more before I know exactly what to write. Sometimes, the words flow out of me with hardly a break; other times, God forces me to struggle with every sentence, and wrestle with every idea.

So for today I’ll simply say that – once again – I am deeply grateful for every opportunity I have to stand in front of a room full of people and share words of encouragement, hope, promise, challenge, and love.
