The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22-23
This morning I caught a glimpse of what I was talking about in yesterday’s post (“When the World Overwhelms Us“) when I looked up into the sky during my morning walk.
“Carolina Blue” is certainly a beautiful color. But it was also the “new every morning” part that communicated so vividly.
God places clues, messages, illustrations of his grace and faithful love all over the place, all the time. Our task is to keep our eyes open, to pay attention, and to connect the dots.
