To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:God has made everything beautiful in its time. Also God has put eternity in [our] hearts… Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11
It has become my tradition to summarize each month by posting the appropriate number of pictures. March had 31 extremely busy and eventful days, and there is no way 31 images can cover everything.
But I am going to give it a try.
The 31 photographs make for a nice collage, a tapestry of rich texture and vivid color. There is a lot of love squeezed into these frames, along with light, grace, and joy. And there is pain too – from heartaches, and sickness, and toothaches, and hospital visits. But mostly what I see is encouragement and promise.
Life is simply what happens, day by day; grace and mercy are what God extends, with generosity regardless of our merit; gratitude can be my only response.
And so I am on the edge of my seat with anticipation for April. What will I see? What will I learn? Where will the story lead me?
It is still The Greatest Story Ever Told, and – always – with the potential to be the greatest story ever lived – DEREK
