This post is for the train enthusiasts. Specifically steam. I now you’re out there. There are a lot of “novelty” train rides in the world, but I doubt that many have the authenticity, the credibility, and the attention to detail that sets the Romney, Hythe, and Dymchurch Light Railway apart.

These are beautiful, fully functioning, finely engineered steam locomotives made to scale. I would share more amazing photographs, but my grandson’s happy, inquisitive, enthusiastic “not yet approved for the Internet” face is way too visible on every one of them!
