Ah, the week in photographs! Always a great opportunity to let my camera do the talking. This grouping covers memories, rehab, and the continued hard work next door.

Let’s start with the memory (again, many thanks to FaceBook for the “on this day” feature). I have already posted about our move to North Carolina via “10-year re-blog” and “10 years ago this week“, so we won’t spend much time on this.

But the memory photograph that popped up in my feed is from our first Sunday at WFPC, taken in the CLC, and it’s especially wonderful because it also includes Rebekah’s sister Rachel and her husband Tom.

Then, the photographs from mum’s ongoing rehabilitation in Raleigh simply comment on the fact that this is an ongoing process that involves hard work, and I am proud that she is doing what she can to get better.

As the physical therapist said, “Nobody likes Rehab”! But there she is, and I am confident she will make enough progress to return to her home soon.

Finally, Rebekah and I have almost finished the preparation work next door, getting the house ready for market.

Lots of cleaning, visits from the electrician and the plumber, minor repairs from other trades, paint touch-ups as well as painting whole rooms, dealing with furniture and papers and memories and an unimaginable volume of stuff, and still more cleaning. But we are almost there.
