So Monday evening, very much needing a break, we enjoyed a lovely evening with our friends Resi and Keith out on Lake Royale. We arrived just in time for a relaxed sunset cruise. Appetizers on the pontoon boat, with the two dogs having the time of their lives.

Max is the “mature” Golden Retriever, and Emmy is the bouncy whippersnapper. They are both sweethearts, and they do very well together.

Hors d’Oeuvres on the boat, dinner on the porch overlooking the lake, great conversation everywhere.

It is just so very good to be with people we love. So therapeutic. So necessary. Just the boost I needed with Tuesday’s drama unknowingly ahead of me…
