Images that Tell the Story (April 2024 in 30)

“You fill up the frame with feelings, energy, discovery, and risk, and leave room enough for someone else to get in there.”
– Joel Meyerowitz

This task is an impossibility. But I have to give it a try – “The Month in Pictures” post has become a tradition.

What I’m trying to document is April 2024’s spectacular springtime color in the gardens, the family portraits, my mum’s rose planted in Wake Forest, the eclipse, wildflowers, walks in the woods, friends (for Max too), golf for mission, amazing arts – also for mission – in the garden at our church, more family, hidden treasures around Tarboro, and – most of all – this sense of love and community and spiritual home we are felling at Howard Memorial Presbyterian Church.

Life is good. I think this is a representative collection, but if these pictures don’t tell the story you will just have to believe me!

In love, and because of love – DEREK
