This first week of July, “Photo-Friday” content runs all the way from the distinctive farmland of Eastern North Carolina, to our grandson Mr. T. scooting on The Tridge in Midland Michigan, to Rebekah examining the front porch on St. Patrick Street, to our Orlando family’s brand new house walkthrough, to Max sporting his new haircut, to walking around Tarboro, to meeting David and Beks at the airport and getting our epic summer vacation under way.
Definitely a busy beginning to a month packed-full with everything and then some. But Rebekah and I feel inordinately blessed to have these opportunities, and to experience such abundance, and to have so much to share.
What a rich blessing it is to truly live!
The writer of First Timothy put it well when he expressed the following thought in chapter six: “In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life” (1 Tim 6:19).
Praying that we all keep our eyes and our hearts open to receive the wonders of the world around us; praying that we take hold of what is truly life – DEREK
