Wandering… but not lost

Not all those who wander are lost.” – J R R Tolkien

Just a short post for today, as we are traveling.

Leg one – Raleigh-Durham to London Heathrow – went very well. We splurged for premium economy and the extra space and it turned out to be a great decision.

So now we are in Terminal 3 waiting for this afternoon’s flight to Krakow. A “full English breakfast” has helped the wait but now I need to figure out what to do with the 3,000 calories.

English breakfast

Stay tuned, friends, as we continue east and arrive in Poland for our first visit.

We told our children we would always encourage their dreams and they could live anywhere in the world… just try to make sure they are great places to visit! We’re not there yet but it looks like Krakow is going to be very much the quality of destination we had in mind!

Peace and blessings on your adventures- wherever they take you – DEREK

  1. When we toured England and Scotland using B&Bs, we got tired of the English breakfasts. One lovely lady offered us oatmeal instead. Loved it!

  2. Hi! Happy and safe travels! Loretta and I also sat in premium economy going and coming back from Europe, it was comfortable. Have fun, keep your hands clean and watch out for pick-pockets, seriously…God bless and Merry Christmas to you both! Diana Craig
