“If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.” – Marcus Tullius Cicero
I know, call me a romantic, but I can’t get enough of springtime in this town. From the dogwood and azalea to the view from our porch on a stormy day, to the early morning skies to the churchyards both at Calvary and Howard Memorial it is all a study in lovely.
The storm that came through Monday knocked off a lot of the blooms so I am glad I captured these shots over the weekend.
Enjoy, take a moment to look around you and be grateful, then see where you can pick up some trash on the side of the street to keep this place looking its best.
Because this is our town, all of us, and it is good to pause once in a while and remember how special it is.
Peace and love – DEREK
