Sunset over the fields and other photos from a beautiful week in NC

Sunset over the fields off NC State Highway 42

Happy weekend, friends! Here, after a series of more serious posts, is a collection of extra – leftover – photographs from the week.

The beauty of these images is that each could generate its own story – but there is simply not enough time to write them. So, instead, I will assign captions and leave it at that.

The beautiful truth is, as I wrote in my previous post, that every moment in our lives plays out on Sacred Ground.

God’s intention for me is sacred; the dust from which I was formed – and will return – is sacred too; anywhere that I stand, in proper relation to Jesus, is sacred ground.

  1. I don’t know what brightens the house most, the mums or the Max…
  2. Our neighbor Ginger’s house sporting a new paint job…
  3. Low waters in the Tar, looking upstream…
  4. The view downstream toward the trestle bridge…
  5. Sunrise looking across Saint Patrick Street…
  6. A beautiful cool morning for yard-work…

  8. A.I. version of our grandson, Mr. T., walking in the woods – Krakow, Poland
