All the noise on the Internet today is about the president’s State of the Union speech Tuesday evening. Everyone seems so worried, so concerned, so anxious either for or against the ideas put forth by one party or the other
I’m more than ready for a sanctuary filled with prayer, praise, song, grateful hearts, encouragement, and love.
It is as if the lamp held by Lady Liberty is no longer lifted so high, that the light has dimmed, or that it is partially shaded for many of the tempest-tossed.
I believe that the impetus of liberty and the momentum of freedom outweigh and outclass any momentary leaning toward cynicism and doubt
This is going to be a challenging time for us as a nation and as a redeemed people. But I am a Child of Promise, committed to following Jesus, and I intend to be a source of light, not dissension
