Without good company, food can never be much more than decent
The British celebration of “Boxing Day” (a.k.a. December 26) has a number of stories/explanations attached. But I’ll keep it simple and say that – essentially – the tradition stems from the practice of “boxing” up leftovers and sharing them with the less fortunate.
This recipe is neither expensive nor difficult. But it is special. I don’t know about you, but I think that sitting down to dinner is always an opportunity to treat your spouse to a date-like atmosphere. Just a little extra effort makes all the difference.
