four great photos from Midland

MIDLAND, MICHIGAN: This morning we’re leaving Midland, after a wonderful five days of wedding, Pashby hospitality, and family togetherness. Midland is a cool community, with an idyllic, walk-able, downtown, plus parks and gardens all over the place. The town’s trademark feature is “The Tridge,” a three-way bridge where two rivers come together. Hence the photo – above – of me on one of the spans.

The other three photos, below (all four are iPhone 4 shots) feature Rebekah in front of The Tridge, grandson David working his dad’s iPhone at breakfast, and Rebekah with our new granddaughter, Rebekah Mae. I’ve included these images just there to let you see what a great time we’re having. Enjoy, and stay tuned for more travel writing over the next few days.

God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning… (Genesis 1:31)
