he good news this morning is that our “snow event” is pretty but not overwhelming. We have managed to achieve optimal snow effect without losing power. It snowed 2-3 inches here in Wake Forest, on already frozen ground, and it’s staying cold enough today to give us a good 36-hours or so to enjoy.

The bad news is that we had to cancel Wednesday Night Dinner at the church. Reservations came in at well over 200 for the first time ever. Like most aspects of church life here, mid-week is growing, both in terms of participation and enthusiasm.

So, in terms of today’s post, I don’t have much more than thanksgiving, enthusiasm, a few fun snow pictures, and these words from Psalm 100:

Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His name. For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting, And His faithfulness to all generations.
