Rain-soaked photography

Over the past couple of days I’ve been working on a serious post about how we tend to use scripture to back up our own ideas… but I haven’t had the time to pull it all together. I’ll probably publish my thoughts Monday or Tuesday, but in the meanwhile I’m going to default to sharing some of my recent photos.
It’s been raining a lot for the past couple of weeks, so I pulled out my new camera to capture the gentle light and some of the rich colors. Here are a few of the best images.

Before becoming a full-time writer, Derek taught public school in Florida for eighteen years, including cutting-edge work with autistic children. He holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and education from Stetson University and the University of West Florida.
Derek is active in teaching at his church: adult Sunday school, and a men’s Bible study/spiritual formation group. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, photography, reading, cooking, playing guitar, and golf.
