meet the new grand-puppy!
So we have a new grand-puppy. I haven’t met her yet, but our daughter Naomi wants me to write about her just the same. Her name is Kylo. She is beyond cute. Our grandchildren are over the moon excited.
First, let’s be clear, Rebekah and are are not even vaguely considering another dog. Scout Labradoodle (read my recent post – Goodbye Scoutie) has left such a gaping hole in our hearts it will take a lot more time to begin to patch up the deep ache.
But Naomi, Craig, and the children instantly fell in love with this cutie-pie mixed breed Heinz 57 all-American mutt variety and she is well and truly The Grand-dog.

At 6 and 7 years of age, I don’t think there is a more perfect – or complimentary – combination of shared values than puppy and children. Essentially what we’re talking about here is three puppies. Truth.
So, welcome to the family, Kylo. It is obvious that, even after only a few days, you are confident in the knowledge that you are loved.
It’s a simple equation really. A family that loves us, people who care, complete trust. It’s what we all need.
Stay tuned to this space for more on Kylo once we meet. In the meanwhile the grandchildren are coming here for a week. I will post to this blog if and when I am able.
