Just a music video that should make you smile

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
 Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
 Know that the Lord, He is God… – Psalm 100

A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post about having the fun opportunity to play guitar and sing “Walk Down this Mountain” with pastor John, family ministries director Katherine, and Brett from the Praise Band. The main point was Rebekah’s message, but the song was on the recording too.

This week our AV guru Jim isolated the music and let me have a recording. I have done a lot of offertory pieces over the years and I have to say is was one of my favorites to date.

I’m especially pleased with the way the two guitars work together to create a rich, layered sound. It’s the kind of tune that makes you tap your toes and smile, and Lord knows we all need that.

So here it is, without further explanation. Enjoy, share, and then don’t forget to show up for worship Sunday morning.
