“The Very Old and the Very Young” (photo Friday collection)

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
    he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.

Psalm 23:1-3

I forgot, apparently, to post my usual “month in review” photo collection earlier this week (thanks for the reminders!). February came to such an abrupt halt (as it does), then March was off and running before I had the chance to reflect. Today, however, is “Photo Friday,” so I will do both: First a few images for today, then – later today – a collection from the past month.

Photo Friday will be “The very old and the very young!”

My Parents:

Thursday was warm and very springlike here in Wake Forest, so I got dad out onto the deck and we enjoyed the sunshine. It’s a lovely spot, overlooking the woods and streets behind their house. We talked, and I read to them, and we enjoyed a good English “cup of tea.”

Rather than just one, I will share a slideshow (five, all worth seeing) of the whole collection:

The Miami crew:

Down in Miami, David, Beks, and Geoffrey continue to push the boundaries of adorable!

The older two are amazing with their little brother; Geoffrey loves his family and especially the animals, and Beks is – with her usual confidence – trying her hand at cooking.

Thankfully, the Campbell family is planning to head this way for Spring Break, and I will get to see them for the first time in far too long.

Photo Friday Collections:

You can go back and take a look at more collections of images by typing “Photo Friday” or “Photography” into the search field or clicking on “Photography” in the list of “hot link” categories.

Regardless of how you search, photography remains one of my favorite ways to share story.

Peace and blessings to all, in every imaginable way – DEREK
