God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

John 3:17

Good Friday. Good, of course, means Holy. And “holy” best describes the initiative of Jesus, taking his invitation for each one of us to walk into reconciliation all the way to the cross.

And the “why” of Good Friday is – quite simply – life. Jesus is inviting us to live like we mean it, because he certainly means for us to engage life in all of its fullness.

So “Photo Friday” today is “Photo Good Friday.” Just a few simple reminders of how life is so good. Just a simple “thank you” to Jesus for going to such lengths for me.
