Sunday morning I published a short video post from atop the sand dunes in the South of England. In it I talked about my devotional life often being – simply – rooted in paying attention.

This morning, and while I am still processing more of the photographs I have yet to share, my emphasis is essentially the same.

Walking the dog. Keeping my eyes open. Aware of the reality of God’s presence. Immersed in the beauty that is just an average October morning here in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Grateful.
