Overall, our Independence Day was great, full with celebration and fun and working on Andrew and Alicia’s home, along with the generous hospitality of “The Pashby Parents.”

I plan to share more about all that in another post; for today I just have a few photos from the fireworks.

An after dinner rainstorm almost cancelled the show, but then the skies cleared and we walked over to the Midland Country Club to watch.

What a spectacular way to end a good day together! Mr. T. loved everything about the display, and we felt extra blessed – not only that we live in a country worth celebrating but that we can do it with people we love.

It may be cliché to say but, “God bless America!” Also, and this is extremely important to understand, may “God bless every nation on this good Earth.”
