Taking photographs on vacation is an interesting thing.
There are “photos of opportunity”, just pulling out my iPhone and grabbing whatever experience we’re enjoying. Surprisingly, other than the amazing series of July 4th fireworks shots, every image I published while on the road was from my phone.
Then there is “getting serious with my Nikon”. This is more deliberate photography with much more photo-tech behind it. Today’s photos come under that heading.
More and more, and I guess you the reader/viewer have to make up your own mind, I have found myself increasingly pleased – at least on this particular adventure – with the photos from my phone!
