August turned out to be a busy month – what with an abbreviated trip to see the grandchildren (the whole family got sick so we turned around and came home!), the continued process of emptying out my mum’s house, my mum’s fall and consequent broken hip, day after day at the hospital and rehab, and now our daughter Naomi’s time in the hospital for major kidney surgery.
So not generally an easy to photograph thirty-one days but definitely interesting and worth documenting along the way.
So the photo collection begins with the quick Florida trip (visiting Jesse and Heather in Jacksonville then stopping by DeLand to see Stetson and the quick two days in Orlando).
Then it’s all furniture moving and hospital and working on the house. Then we’re done and now it’s September with – first few days at least – more of the same.
Enjoy the photography, the people, and the story, then let’s all have a more relaxed and healthy (please!) September!
Love and blessings – always – DEREK
