Grandchildren are the crown of the aged,
and the glory of children is their parents. – Proverbs 17:6
Here it is, “Photo Friday” and I don’t have a collection of my own photos I am excited to share! Well actually I do, but they are going to have to wait for the right time so I can properly tell the story that goes with them!
Meanwhile, fortunately, our daughter Naomi keeps me well supplied with beautiful images of the Orlando grandchildren. So I have this short sampling that should be guaranteed to give you a smile – or three – to brighten your day.
We have four amazing grands, of course, but the wonderful shots we enjoy of almost-five-year-old Mr. T. remain unavailable on the Internet. This week’s gem, featuring our grandson holding a giant “T” almost as big as he is, marks the end of their school year in Bahrain. More on their new adventures in an upcoming post.
A few of these are from Naomi and Craig’s recent beach trip, so technically not from this past week. But they all hold the quality I am looking for in a photograph, and that is light and life. There is no such thing as a truly “still” photograph with these kids in it!
P.S. I selected the scripture passage because we are reading through Proverbs together as a church (I jumped ahead a little for this one). I have to say, especially in this time of political tensions, that reading through Proverbs has been eye-opening. Might I suggest reading along with us? I will share Rebekah’s thoughts on this soon.
Peace and blessings – and more peace – DEREK

Great photos and beautiful grandchildren! ❤️
