A few images for Photo Friday!

– Alicia, Andrew and Mr. T.

It’s not often I get to include a photograph of Mr. T. in this space, so I’m going to lead with that. Taken on the Alaska cruise this is “The A-Team” in their element, exploring and making memories (note their cruise-ship in the background).

Lego time

Then, the day after they returned to Michigan and just a few days before they headed back to Poland, T. had his sixth birthday and here he is opening the Lego set we sent him while chatting with us on FaceTime.

Meanwhile, back here in Tarboro, Max was especially happy about the few cool mornings we recently enjoyed and he spent a lot of time going back and forth between the two screen-doors to sniff all the available fresh air.

Next in the line-up you will see my new Emeril Lagasse multi-function Air-Fryer Toaster-Oven combo.

A new kitchen appliance may not sound blog-worthy to you, but I love this thing! My old one unfortunately bit the dust last week but I have become so dependent on the device for baking, air-frying, convection, slow-roast and more I had to replace it right away. With just the two of us most days there really is little need to fire up the big oven.

Finally, I found a hamburger recipe so good the patties are known as “crack-burgers.” The burger is followed by an image our neighbor’s law offices in the evening light.

Photo-Friday at its most basic!

Enjoy – DEREK

  1. I loved your description of Max at the door. Mr. T is precious! I agree about using the ‘big’ oven of 1-2 people. Thanks for the tip on Air-Fryer Toaster-Oven combo.
