Freezing with the chance of an ice-storm!

1901838_10152322344664258_757072076_nIt’s Wednesday morning in Wake Forest, and everything appears quiet. Cold and quiet. There’s not much going on other than overcast skies.

But not for long! We have a major “Winter Weather Event” coming our way and odds are we’ll not only be blanketed with snow, but the snow will be followed by an ice-storm that could knock out power for several days.

If we do lose power then that would amount to a “brrrr & grrrr” event – the classic double-whammy.

SCRIPTURE: My Upper Room devotional reading today came from Romans 5. The entire passage is most excellent, but here’s the line that really caught my attention: “Hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts.”

God’s love is the quality of hope that never disappoints. May each one of you enjoy the kind of day where hope, and God’s good love, stand front and center in your experience.
