This photo pretty much sums up the emphasis for the next several days. You’ve guessed it, the grandchildren (David – almost four, and Beks – two) will be my constant focus between now and late Sunday evening.

In consequence, you can expect to see a series of hopeful, encouraging, positive, promise-laden posts. Or, to put it another way, a great metaphor for the gospel.

Good news is always worth sharing; it’s what this world needs to hear, and it is the reason I write.

whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you. – Philippians 4:8-9
