God is the Maker of heaven and earth,
the sea, and everything in them—
he remains faithful forever. – Psalm 146:6
The final night of Vacation Bible School our daughter-in-love, Alicia, came along to be with Beks, so I found myself with more freedom to walk around and take photographs. Yes, I do understand that I’m only, “just another grandfather with a camera,” but I’m pleased with the results and I believe the slide-show below tells a story that is worth sharing.
What got my attention Thursday evening was the pure beauty of so many (very young) children massed together and singing songs about God’s love. This was no lip-syncing, or mumbling under protest, but full-out enthusiastic, joyful, heartfelt, nothing-held-back, praise!
God’s presence at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church was – is – undeniable; it was – is – obvious not only that the children could feel it, but the adults too.
In these photographs, I’ve tried to tell a little of the story and grab some of the atmosphere. I’ve also captioned (and will throughout the day today) a few to point to the (very many) amazing children’s ministry leaders who poured everything into making “Maker Fun Factory, VBS 2017” such a positive, God-saturated, inspirational experience.
