This morning we’re overdue for one of my “Five Photo Friday” posts. Yes, I know it’s Saturday today, and there are six pictures. But it will still work so long as nobody actually mentions the discrepancies!

Foodie Friday: I ran into a nice piece of Chilean Sea Bass yesterday. The result was so excellent I’ll share the recipe here. Pre-heat oven to 450. Rub a little olive oil, crushed garlic, lemon, and basil into the fish. Place in ceramic dish and cook for 15 minutes – uncovered. Sprinkle a little parsley on top then cook another five. Serve with Jasmine rice (cook the rice with some diced celery) and mixed vegetables. I also made a white sauce with mushrooms and some parmesan.

Beks and David: (kids pics credit their mama, Naomi Campbell) The grandchildren may be getting ready for the big move to Miami, but they are in great spirits. Here is Beks getting her nails painted. She certainly has all the confidence, and glam, and flair, and verve, and “extra” South Miami brings to mind. What a wonderful girl she is! What an amazing sweetheart our grandson David is, too.

Winter in Wake Forest: I honestly don’t believe there is a dull or unattractive time of the year here in Wake Forest. Maul-Hall in the woods, then my parents’ home next door. I love the way our homes sit, way back in this quiet cul-de-sac. I love the backdrop of trees.
