Pensacola Beach through the lens of my Nikon Z50

– David and Beks at Pensacola Beach

How many are your works, Lord!
    In wisdom you made them all;
    the earth is full of your creatures.
 There is the sea, vast and spacious,
    teeming with creatures beyond number—
    living things both large and small.

Psalm 104:24-25
– where the ocean meets the land

A few days ago I published my “Beach Magic” post, focusing on the last day of our vacation in Pensacola. Today I have a few more images from the Fort Pickens National Seashore, this time taken with the new “mirrorless” Nikon Z50.

It’s really not so hard to grab a few great photographs when the location is so pristine. Emerald green seas, Sunshine State skies, early evening light, beautiful children, June on the Gulf Coast.

Regardless, I was especially pleased with the results.

Today it is Sunday. This is a good moment take pause to remember who imagined and designed and set in motion the forces that fashioned this amazing coastline. But of course, every day is a good day to give thanks, and to say with the Psalmist, “How many are your works, Lord!”

So here is a look – through my lens – at one of the most beautiful moments of what was an exceptionally beautiful week.

I pray that I will see you at church – DEREK
