Without good company, food can never be much more than decent
I am convinced that were created to engage life with more zest, more applied creativity, and more unrestrained joy than we typically allow ourselves to experience. Sometimes we need more than our manageable version of salvation – what we need is transformation…
Our first meal was the Moroccan Chicken with Prunes and Brown Rice. It was excellent, and I’d give it a solid “B” on my rating scale
The point of today’s post (other than the fact that I love to write about food) is that I try to approach every task – even the routine of preparing dinner at home – with a little extra love and imagination, and that I always make it clear that when I serve Rebekah it’s never routine but always special.
This is exactly why we exist; in order to experience community with God… and also with one another
It’s not just the peaches that are sweet, it’s living this good life together, encouraging one another, and sharing the hope and the promise that we know with the world around us. We are truly blessed.
