See these spectacular garden photographs from the campus at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church

Then the Lord God planted a garden in the East, in a place named Eden. He put the man he made in that garden. Then the Lord God caused all the beautiful trees that were good for food to grow in the garden. This post is for the picture-lovers among my readers. My inspiration for today’s blog is the picture I posted yesterday. I captured the flowers – casually – in our church garden a couple of days back, then realized I loved the image so much I needed to return with my Nikon and take some serious photographs.

If you read this space at all you know how much I love our church family. The people who congregate inside the building are an amazing collection of disciples. There is a spirit of love and purpose at Wake Forest Presbyterian Church that leaves me breathless with wonder sometimes.

CAMPUS: But today I’m documenting the campus at 12605 Capital Blvd, Wake Forest. The images – all taken yesterday afternoon and evening, begin with the prayer garden, then branch out to include some views of the buildings and grounds.

This is the third church Rebekah has served as a pastor (Trinity in Pensacola, First in Brandon, then here at WFPC). The buildings sit on ten beautiful acres, and it’s one of the nicest tracts of church property I’ve ever seen. The Bible may read that, “God does not live in temples built by human hands” (Acts 17:24); but our life together as a community of faith is anchored in this beautiful campus in Wake Forest, and I am beyond grateful. I love what we’ve done with the place, and I believe it reflects something of the love we have for one another, and for the God who brings such transformational life to our fellowship.
