See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! – 1 John 3:1
So it’s a big weekend for family. Naomi and the children rolled in from Miami Thursday afternoon; then today my niece Hannah, her fiancée Chris, and their collective five will arrive from Sarasota. Lunch should be a zoo – but at least my parents will have seven of their eight great-grands all in one sitting.
That means this post is necessarily short.
I took Naomi, David, Beks, and Geoffrey (Craig flies up early next week) next door the moment they arrived. Children are life itself, grandchildren bring unmeasurable joy, and great-grandchildren are not just great, they are good medicine.
The photo at the counter was my “good morning a little while ago.” That and a cup of coffee and I am beyond wide awake!
Peace to you all this day and this weekend. In love, and because of love – DEREK
