Short Photo Essay (another busy day around Tarboro)

– North Main heading into the historical district

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7

– the lamb at On the Square

I would say, “We’re almost all moved in…” but that would be kind of pointless because I’ve been saying it for more than a week now. So hold that thought and I will make a big, splashy “woohoo” when we are really ready to hand in the keys to our rental.

Instead, here is a short photo essay from Friday.

  1. Walk the neighborhood because I can
  2. Put three more loads of “stuff” in the storage unit (and take some out too)
  3. Drive into the historic district heading south on North Main. It looks so beautiful as all the new leaves come out
  4. Enjoy a wonderful meal at “On the Square.”

Done and done. Now I have to move my sixth (or is it seventh) load of the day.

Life is good. Let’s always be in the mood to celebrate! – DEREK
